Highlights:
Emissions calculators for both individuals and transit agencies. The transit calculator tallies emissions for transit agency fleets allowing the storing of multiple modification scenarios to aid in planning future upgrades with an eye towards improving emissions.
My Role:
I worked with a small team on the development of this site. I handled all design & information architecture, and assisted in PHP coding for calculator functionality. The site contained a large amount of data on the back end that needed to be integrated into the site in an easy-to-read format.
Results:
The successful realization of this site led to multiple rounds of additional funding for further development. The site has been featured on CNN and the individual calculator is becoming part of a permanent exhibit at the Maryland Science Center in Baltimore.
